Changes in the packaging market for soda bottles

In the early 1980s and 1990s in China, soda was the representative of the carbonated beverage market, occupying an absolute share of the beverage market. However, with the development of the modern market, fruit juice drinks, milk tea drinks and other beverage varieties are constantly emerging, the market share of soda drinks is also declining. This is not a good thing for soda bottle manufacturers, but not a bad thing for beverage bottle manufacturers. 

Different from other packaging, the soda bottle has requirements on the parameters of the bottle itself. The bottle body must be able to withstand the pressure from the internal soda, which requires the body to be round shape and the wall to be thick enough, so the shape of the bottle can be less selective. 

While other beverage packaging like juice bottle, milk tea bottle and yogurt bottle have more selection in shape and design, they can be square not just round shape, more importantly can be customized to more special designs, that seems to be more attractive for consumer. 

When the soda packaging market is in a state of malaise, for manufacturers specializing in producing plastic beverage bottles, we should actively observe the changes of the beverage market, explore the trend of market demand, and develop more new plastic beverage packaging bottle markets to meet different market demands.
