What is PLA plastic ?
The absolutely harmless properties of polylactic acid to the human body make polylactic acid have unique advantages in the field of disposable tableware, food packaging materials and other disposable products. Its ability to be completely biodegradable also meets the high environmental requirements of countries around the world, especially the European Union, the United States and Japan.

Polylactic acid (PLA) is a new type of biodegradable material made from starch raw materials proposed by renewable plant resources such as corn. It has good biodegradability, after use can be completely degraded by microorganisms in nature, and eventually generates carbon dioxide and water, does not pollute the environment, is recognized as an environmentally friendly material.
The treatment method of ordinary plastics is still incineration and cremation, resulting in a large amount of greenhouse gases being discharged into the air. PLA plastics are buried in the soil and degraded, and the carbon dioxide produced directly enters the soil organic matter or is absorbed by plants, does not discharge into the air, and does not cause a greenhouse effect.
The Society of Plastics Industry (SPI) specifies that the digital identification code for polylactic acid is "7".
